A few days ago, the organizing committee of Haicheng City Environmental Protection Century Trip visited Anshan Aohai Refractory Co., LTD., located in Daxin Village, Bali Town, Haicheng City. Workers on the project site are installing dust removal equipment. Wang Wenming, general manager of the company, said that the company was established at the end of 2004, is a Sino-Australian joint venture, to the production and sales of large crystal, electromolten magnesium products. Each set of the original dust removal equipment of the enterprise is associated with two electric magnesium melting furnaces, which is a small horse-drawn cart. Due to the aging of the equipment, dust removal efficiency, organized emission concentration of dust, emission and other indicators are not up to the standard. In the downturn of magnesia industry, for the consideration of environmental protection, the company invested more than 30 million yuan to dismantle the original electric furnace and precipitator, build 32 4000KVA electric magnesium melting furnaces, and build advanced dust removal equipment. Among the 16 electric magnesium melting furnaces and dust removal equipment built in the first phase, 8 have been completed and put into production, and another 8 are under construction. It is expected to be completed and trial production will start in mid-July. Phase II construction of 16 electric magnesium melting furnace and dust removal equipment is expected to be completed in 2017. After the completion of the project, the comprehensive dust removal efficiency will reach more than 98.5 percent, fully meeting the requirements of the national emission standards. In Haicheng Sanyan Mining Co., LTD., the enterprise's light firing reflection kiln upgrading project has been basically completed. According to Shi Changgui, the deputy manager of the company, in order to improve the pollution of magnesia production, this year the investment of 5 million yuan, dismantle the original soil water gas station, the construction of an environmental protection and energy-saving mechanized thermal decoking coal station, the newly built gas station saves energy, reduces energy consumption, thermal efficiency increases 10%-20%, product quality increases one percentage point, Reduce fuel costs by more than 15%. High degree of mechanization, safe and reliable operation, large gas production, a gas station can be used for the production of several light kilns. More important is to make the enterprise environment has been greatly improved, soot concentration and sulfur dioxide concentration is greatly reduced, in line with the national emission standards, changed the past black smoke, energy consumption, heavy pollution situation. Since the introduction of this technology, it has received better environmental protection and energy saving effect, reduced production costs, improved labor productivity, and brought greater economic and social benefits to enterprises.


According to the staff of the environmental protection department, in addition to these two projects, Haicheng will also have three magnesia industry dust removal projects completed in September this year, which will greatly reduce soot emissions and improve the city's air quality.
