Light fired magnesium is widely used in building materials, chemical industry, metallurgy, medicine and other fields, is the production of fire-proof board, light partition board, magnesium sulfate, paper making, sulfur removal process, steel furnace slag splash and other ideal material.
Preparation of light fired magnesium powder: light fired magnesium powder
The magnesite, brucite and magnesium hydroxide extracted from seawater or brine are calcined at about 800~1000℃ to decompose and discharge CO2 or H2O, that is, to obtain light fired magnesium powder, also known as light fired magnesium oxide, caustic magnesium oxide or light fired magnesium, commonly known as bitter earth powder. Light fired magnesium powder has loose texture and high chemical activity, which can be used in the manufacture of magnesium cement, magnesite building materials, heat insulation materials, etc. It is also the intermediate product of the two-step calcination process to produce high-quality magnesia.
